Not 1, Not 2, But 3 Winners

“The real winners in life are the people who look at every situation with an expectation that they can make it work or make it better”

~Barbara Pletcher

winner [win-er]
–noun

1. a person or thing that wins; victor.
—Idiom
2. winner take all, a situation or outcome whereby the winner receives all the prizes or rewards.

Even though you can't all be the winners of the giveaways, you are all winners to me.  I would like to thank you all for taking the time to enter one or both of my giveaways.  And, especially for taking the time to read and/or follow my blog.
Now for the winners of the giveaways.......

For "There Was An Old Lady" Random.org selected the number 59

Have to agree, my favorite pattern is still the Shop Hopper, but love the other bunny too.

I think I should eat some potato chips today!!!
Your mug rug looks great. I am sure your partner will love it too.
Time allowances are difficult on any given day. Like you, I have way too much to do to sit with idle hands as I watch TV in the evenings. Hand sewing really helps me feel like I am not wasting my time.
I would love to read the book and pass it on too.

Congratulations to all of the winners!  I will be sending off emails to the three of you shortly so that I can get your snail mail info.

FINAL THOUGHT

I know today's blog wasn't my normal format but with having been gone for a few days I'm totally out of whack.  I didn't keep up on giveaways but I did get a couple of things made (to be shared later).  I feel weird having a post without a photo fact of the day.  We did have a wonderful time on our little weekend getaway.  The weather was much nicer coming home than going.  The hills were ablaze of green and the sky was brilliant blue when we could see it in between the clouds.  The orchards were all through blooming but you could see all of the fallen petals creating a ground cover of either white or pink.  We even saw the first few California poppies braving the cold along the roadside.  Tomorrow I will be back to normal - whatever that may be - LOL!

The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month.
~Henry Van Dyke

Today is Tuesday - do something fun!

Congratulations to all three winners!'

I agree with Mr. Van Dyke... it seems as if we skipped from winter to summer... the high today will be in the 80s!

You have no need to apologize, so glad you enjoyed your time away. As far as your final quote - it could very well be a month for us - we had snow yesterday and will see more thru the week. It will take Spring a little longer to arrive here.

Oh - yes - congratulations to all the winners.

That quote by Van Dyke is so true. We are expecting wet snow this week!

I am going to have fun reading the book and passing it along. Thank you.

Glad that your trip home was uneventful. Everything really is pretty now with the lush green hills washed clean with the rains. Are you ready for the next storm?

Yay! Congratulations to Snoodles and Jacque!!!
Love the quotes. I sent the first one to my sister, who is a high school art teacher. She likes to share things like that with her students.

Yay for the winners! You made their day!

Glad you had a lovely trip and are home safe and sound. It does take a few days to get back in the swing of things, doesn't it?

Congrats to the winners! We got a sprinkling of rain this morning and the Sandias got a fresh dusting of snow! Glad you had a good trip. :)

Yay winners! And Linda, we see all the time that there are no "quilt police", and I'm sure there are no "blog police" either. There is no law that says you have to adhere to your blog format every time you post something. However, I do think it's cool that you have a specific format. I don't think I've really seen anybody else that has a format. They might have a specific thing they post on Mondays, or on Tuesday, or any other day of the week, but not really a specific format. I love reading your blog whatever format you use. You've my favorite. I've said it many times before, and I'll repeat it many more times.

Congratulations to all 3 winners.

I agree the difference in Spring quote. We actually had snow today. Of course, it was the kind that disappeared as soon as it hit the ground, but still......
